EE is currently the United Kingdom’s only 4G LTE network – it launched back in July 1 2010, under the name Everything Everywhere, which the management team decided to shorten to EE in September 2012. EE thrives on providing super fast 4G LTE internet to customers based in the UK, and starting today it launched its first 30-day SIM-only plans for smartphones.
A study was conducted recently in the U.S. to determine which was the fastest 4G LTE network. The results showed that AT&T’s 4G LTE network was the fastest in the whole country – even faster than Verizon’s, which has been claiming to be the fastest for some time now.
Verizon Wireless has announced on Twitter that it will begin selling the new Samsung Galaxy S4 on its 4G LTE network in May. The carrier hasn’t provided us with a specific date, but it has promised that more details will be available soon.
