Motorola today announced some top-level management changes, which should help it to continue building on the success of the Moto G and Moto E.

Along with this announcement, the company also revealed that it managed to ship 8.6 million smartphones in Q2 of 2014 — a very impressive number considering the company was nearly on the brink of shutting down once.
