The latest update for the Fire TV box from Amazon is live, and it’s got some compelling new features.

The new update modifies the way games interpret the signals from the controller or Fire TV remote, letting you play even more tablet-style games, like the above Sev Zero tower defense game.

Google’s been hard at work overhauling all of its apps for Android 5.0 Lollipop, and we’ve already seen the fruits of its labor inside the latest versions of Gmail, Google+, and Google Play. The next big update will be for the search giant’s Calendar app, and it will deliver a gorgeous new look and awesome new features.

It’s highly unlikely Samsung will bring the Galaxy Note 4’s awesome new features to older Note handsets — especially not one as old as the Note 2. But it doesn’t have to, because the handset still has strong support from third-party developers, who have taken it upon themselves to bring a long list of Note 4 apps and features to the two-year-old phablet.

Samsung made phablet fans in the U.S. wait a while for the Galaxy Note 4, and they’ve been waiting even longer for its peculiar brother, the Galaxy Note Edge. But the South Korean company has today confirmed that the Note Edge will be arriving in the U.S. this month, with AT&T first to kick off sales this week.
