What is likely to be one of Huawei’s most exciting smartphones of the year has been leaked ahead of its official unveiling, and it’s a stunner. The P8 has a large 5.2-inch Full HD display, but it’s the super slim bezels around it that will draw you in.

While recent reports have suggested Sony is preparing to ditch its ailing smartphone division, it seems it won’t give it up without a fight. In a last ditch effort to turn it around, the Japanese company is set to shed another 1,000 workers by March 2016.

HTC may have been working hard to keep its upcoming flagship a secret ahead of its official unveiling, but the leaks continue to come. A new photo published by an incredibly reliable source confirms the design of the One M9 and the One M9 Plus for the first time.

Not content with simply being the world’s third-biggest smartphone maker, occasional Apple copycat Xiaomi is also making inroads in becoming a major wearables company in its own right.

Recently, the company’s CEO Lei Jun laid out his plans to sell more than 10 million of its affordable Mi Band smart bracelets within the next 12 months.

While we obviously don’t yet know how well that will turn out, early indicators are certainly promising — with reports that in at least one minor market, Xiaomi is off to a strong start: selling 100,000 units of its smart bracelets in the Taiwan market alone in less than two months.

One of the biggest design complaints with HTC’s last two One-series handsets will be fixed with the upcoming One M9, sources say. HTC is set to finally ditch it’s front-facing logo bar, which expands the black bezel beneath the One’s display.
