Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 5 will feature 4GB of the latest LPDDR4 RAM, according to sources familiar with the South Korean company’s plans.

Long-time Note users will get a 1GB upgrade over the Galaxy Note 4 and a 2GB upgrade over the Galaxy Note 3, while memory speed will increase significantly, too.

Apple’s latest iPhones may be six months older than the Galaxy S6, but they have no problem outpacing Samsung’s flagship — and all other competitors — in a high-end gaming comparison.
