Verizon Galaxy Nexus owners have been waiting, for what seems like an eternity, for Android 4.0.4 to hit their device. Google passed it along to Verizon months ago, but for some reason, Verizon just recently got around to approving it. Sure, we’ve seen it leak a couple of times, but never anything official from Verizon — until today.

We have to share this next bit of information because, unfortunately, Google does not. There’s been an ongoing issue with Google Wallet, NFC, and its secure element. We simply love wallpapers. They’re one of the first changes we make to our Android devices and often represent our moods, interests, or wicked alter egos. They’re as unique as the individuals who use them and while some people pick one and stick with it, others change them more often than a teenager’s Facebook status. Each day we’re going to feature a free wallpaper for you to download and use on your Android device. Depending on your device, you may want to use your favorite photo editing software to resize the image for a better fit. Once that’s done, apply and enjoy. Your homescreen can thank us later. Cheers!

Gaming Pawn Shop giant GameStop, has announced it now carries a selection of Android tablets in over 1,600 locations. GameStop certainly isn’t known for giving you a fair deal on your old games so expect to trade-in quite a few items to get that tablet.
