So, I hear there’s a big football game coming up next week. The Superbowl is something even us non-sports-watching geeks know about, so this new card game from DeNA, the Japanese social gaming company that purchased gaming giant, ngmoco, a while back looks to be a timely release.

Samsung vice president JK Shin has confirmed that the company will be announcing the Galaxy Note 8.0 at Mobile World Congress next month, but you don’t need to wait until then to see what it’ll look like. Thanks to these pictures of the device out in the wild, we can see that the iPad mini competitor looks a lot like a giant Galaxy S III, with a traditional button setup that’s unlike other Galaxy tablets.

Google has applied for a license to build a wireless network over its headquarters in Mountain View, California. The company submitted an application to the Federal Communication Commission last week requesting permission for an “experimental radio service” that would cover a two-mile radius around its building.

Some analysts believe the move could be the start of numerous dense and “superfast” Google wireless networks in other locations.
