This announcement comes two months after all the other major carriers in the United States started rolling out Android 4.3 for the handset and reveals that Big Red is now preparing to do the same.

In an effort to keep up with its competitors, the popular operator announced this morning that it has launched its high-speed 4G LTE data in an additional 70 locations across the United States, bumping its networks total number of nationwide markets up to 300.

MX Player, one of the most popular third-party video players on Android, finally supports the latest versions of KitKat. The app stopped working for Nexus owners earlier this month when Google rolled out Android 4.4.1, but it’s now fully-compatible with the search giant’s latest software.
