Samsung will begin rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow next month, according to a new update schedule. The Galaxy S6 series and the Galaxy Note 5 will be the first to get the upgrade, followed by the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge, and the Galaxy S5.

Samsung finally has an answer to the Apple Watch Edition. The South Korean company today added 18-karat rose gold and platinum Gear S2 Classic options to its smartwatch lineup, and they’ll cost you about $9,500 less than a gold Apple Watch.

Google has addressed a Linux kernel bug recently discovered by one security firm that has left around 66 percent of Android devices vulnerable to attack. It has already made its patch available to Android partners, but devices running Android 5.0 and above don’t need it.

OnePlus has decided to drop its entry-level OnePlus 2 in the U.S. and Europe, leaving only the 64GB model priced at $389. Customers in these markets just weren’t interested in the 16GB model, the Chinese startup says, so it is saving it for countries that are.
