In a surprise turn of events, Apple and HTC have decided to end all ongoing patent disputes in favor of a 10-year licensing agreement. This is the exact kind of resolution courts around the globe have been hoping for from Apple and in fact, have begged for from Apple and Samsung. While there appears to be no such truce in store for Samsung and Apple, this latest bit of news at least shows hope of Apple scaling back on its patent crusade.

What does make me less excited is the fact that it’s currently on sale on iOS for $0.99 yet they felt the need to charge Android users $2.99 — shame on you! It looks like Google has jumped in to help ease the sting felt by early adopters who’ve recently purchased a 16GB Nexus 7 tablet for $249. If you didn’t hear, Google has decided to drop the price of the 16GB Nexus 7 to $199 and add a 32GB model into the mix for $249. Naturally, this upset some customers and therefore Google has decided to go ahead and offer Price Protection for anyone who purchased the 16GB Nexus 7 on or after October 14th.
Everyone’s favorite game jumping hobo has found his way to Android. If you haven’t already gone to see the movie, I highly recommend it. The Wreck-it Ralph game for Android is the perfect extension to this adorable movie and transports you to Game Central Station to join your favorite characters in three fun but challenging games.
