Samsung has just applied for a trademark on the name “Galaxy Note Edge” for what could possibly be the recently-rumored curved variant of the Note 4. The handset’s believed to boast a single display that wraps around its edges — so, by all accounts, it certainly seems like it would be a rather fitting name.

Sony’s upcoming scaled-down variant of its yet-to-be announced flagship smartphone has been the talk of the town for a while now. So far we’ve seen it pass through the Federal Communications Commission, show up in a bunch of leaked product shots, and just this morning was the subject of seven images allegedly revealing the handset’s side, back and top panels.

HTC’s One M8 is one of the finest smartphones you can buy today — but its bigger brother, the upcoming One M8 max, is claimed to be even better. According to one source, the device will have a larger 5.9-inch display and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 805 processor.

Leaked pictures of a purported Galaxy Note 4 prove that Samsung does have the ability to build good-looking smartphones. Its new flagship phablet looks set to debut a much-improved design with a sleek metal chassis and a leather-like back panel that replaces the cheap and tacky plastic.

Google’s much-anticipated Nexus 8, manufactured by HTC, could well be the most impressive Android device to date. Not only is it expected to look good, but a recent specifications leak suggests it will have a super-speedy 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor and 4GB of RAM, blowing every other Android-powered tablet right out of the water.
