Apple’s “outrageous prices” are not the future for smartphones, according to Motorola president Rick Osterloh, who has hit back at Jony Ive’s criticism of companies that allow consumers to customize their products.

Osterloh believes that great choice at affordable prices is what customers really want, and that smartphones shouldn’t be an expensive luxury.

Google may still be sitting on its Android 5.1 Lollipop update, but someone, somewhere, is already running Android 5.2 on a Nexus 5.

Many of Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones support wireless charging, but only if you are prepared to buy an optional wireless charging back panel. But the South Korean company has vowed to accelerate the technology’s growth in 2015 with greater support in its new Galaxy smartphones.

In a new blog post, Samsung hints at the possibility of support for multiple wireless charging technologies inside the upcoming Galaxy S6.
