Back in September, Google unveiled a range of new Haswell-powered Chromebooks, and up until now we hadn’t heard much more about them. Over the weekend, the team at Mountain View updated the official Chromebook Play Store page with a revised version of Acer’s current Chromebook, the C7, which retails for $199.

The immensely popular U.S. carrier, Verizon Wireless, is offering customers an opportunity to grab either a white or black Moto X completely free of charge on any of its 2 year contracts. Unfortunately, this deal is not available for those wishing to use MotoMaker, but it’s still a pretty good offer.

Lots of rumors have been bandied around over the past week or so, highlighting Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z1 variant, the Z1S, and yesterday a leaked image was published on a Chinese website revealing the much-anticipated device in all its glory.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Gear back in September as a companion device for its flagship Android-powered smartphone of 2013, the Galaxy Note 3. It’s safe to say that many people were amazed by the concept of having a wearable piece of technology which could be used to receive calls, check notifications and take pictures, but when we got our hands on the device, we were somewhat disappointed.
