A couple of days ago, Samsung released the Android 4.4 kernel source for the T-Mobile Note 3 which indicated that the update should not be far away. Less than two days later, the ‘uncarrier’ has started rolling out the update for the latest and greatest flagship from Samsung. 

Motorola

Just yesterday, I reported that Motorola had finally posted the official update documents on its website for an upcoming update for the Sprint-branded variant of its flagship smartphone, the Moto X, and already tons of reports have been flying in confirming that residents in the U.S. have now started receiving the much-anticipated upgrade. In addition to the latest build of 4.4 KitKat, the update also brings a truckload of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations for the handset, as well as the implementation of a couple of new features.

Samsung has today confirmed that its new Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 will go on sale in the U.S. on Sunday, March 9, priced at $649.99. The device will be available from Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, and Samsung’s own online store — and it comes bundled with $800 worth of free content, including a $25 Google Play voucher and three months of Hulu Plus.

Flipboard has today confirmed its acquisition of rival news reader Zite from CNN. The company plans to integrate Zite’s technology into its existing service, while Zite as we know it will be killed off.
