LG today published a new G Flex commercial on its YouTube channel, and it’s one of the strangest you’ll see for a smartphone. The two-minute video aims to showcase how the G Flex is “the most human phone ever,” but you’ll be so weirded out by the end of it that the handset itself will be the last thing on your mind.
Samsung made a big fuss out of the Galaxy S5’s new 16-megapixel camera during its Unpacked 5 event in Barcelona, and based on these stunning sample shots, it would have been silly not to. Apple has today had its request for a permanent injunction on Samsung’s patent-infringing products denied. The Cupertino company was awarded $929 million in damages, but it argued that the monetary sum was insufficient, and that a number of Samsung products should be banned.
HTC today added a new entry-level handset to its Desire smartphone family. It’s called the Desire 310, and it’s the Taiwanese company’s first handset powered by a MediaTek processor. Other highlights include a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, and HTC BlinkFeed.
