Samsung is already working to redefine high-definition tablets and put a 4K display in your rucksack. The South Korean company has this week been showing off a new tablet prototype with a super sharp 12-inch screen that’s enough to make a 1080p movie look like a VHS.

Who says Chromebooks are useless without an Internet connection? Not Google, which today announced that Chromebook users can now watch movies and TV shows offline using the new Play Movies & TV app for Chrome OS.

Google is in the process of developing and testing a new feature for Glass, the world’s most advanced piece of wearable technology. The recently developed experimental functionality is currently being rolled out to all Explorers via an OTA software update, once installed users will be able to view incoming notifications by simply glancing at the screen, instead of having to nod their head or tap  the touchpad whenever the traditional notification chime is heard.

Google today announced the Project Tango development kit — an Android tablet with some unique sensors and features — for a whopping $1024. The tablet is out and out made for developers as evident from the bunch of sensors it packs including motion-tracking cameras, depth sensors, a 120-degree wide-angle front-facing camera and more.
