Amazon has today kicked off a massive Kindle Fire fire sale with savings of up to 25% on its tablet. The sale kicked off at 6 a.m. PDT today, and it will run all day. It doesn’t just include Kindle Fire tablets, but also cases, styluses, and other accessories, too.

If were planning to pick up a Kindle Fire, then, today’s the day to do it.

Motorola-Touchless-Control-app Motorola’s Touchless Control app, which allows you to control your smartphone using only your voice, is now available to download from Google Play. You can use it to set alarms, get directions, find answers to questions, “or do just about anything” — without having to touch your phone at all.

There is one caveat, however. The app’s only available on the Moto X, the Droid Ultra, the Droid Mini, and the Droid Maxx.

Google is pushing out a silent over-the-air update to all its Chromecast units, bringing some much-needed bug fixes and optimizations.

Chromecast has now been upgraded to version 12940, which introduces “better discovery of Chromecast devices,” as well as “improvements to stability when using Google Play Movies.”

Today, more than five months after its original debut, the HTC One is finally available on Verizon Wireless. In fact, you may be able to pick one up in your local Best Buy when you pop in for that new Justin Bieber CD. Rumor has it Google is renting 6,000 square feet of floor space inside every Best Buy store next year just to sell its new wearable tech.
