LG may not think the Galaxy Round is a real curved glass smartphone, but Samsung certainly does. In fact, its first Galaxy Round TV ad is all about things with curves… such as a baby’s hand, an avocado, an egg, a glass, and a hip flask.

It’s quite possibly the strangest smartphone ad you’ll see this week.

White Nexus 5

Google’s upcoming high-end flagship smartphone of 2013, the Nexus 5, has made yet another appearance in a leaked press render, only this time the rear of the handset has been anodized in white.

LG has today unveiled the G Flex, its first smartphone with a 6-inch curved plastic OLED display. It’s the “world’s first real curved smartphone,” according to LG — which has clearly chosen to ignore the recently-released Samsung Galaxy Round — and it boasts a “self-healing” back cover that has the ability to recover from daily wear and tear.

Sprint together with Samsung is in the process of rolling out an interesting Over The Air update for its carrier-branded version of the South Korean company’s flagship Galaxy Note 3. In terms of its content, the upgrade brings a shedload of call audio improvements and a brand new Handwriting Mode.

Sprint Galaxy Mega

A leaked press render has emerged on the internet, showcasing Samsung’s mammoth Galaxy Mega 6.3 running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean skinned with the latest version of the South Korean company’s TouchWiz UI, together, with some of Sprint’s traditional service applications, thus confirming weeks of suspicion suggesting that the handset is headed to the popular U.S. carrier.
