It’s safe to say that Jelly Bean is now officially out of the bag, and we have the official Google Play Store to thank. Earlier in the day, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus listing included a description that outed Android 4.1 and also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be the first phone to get the tasty treat.

We’ve got more Android 4.0 news for you today. This time it involves you Sony Xperia S owners out there. According to Sony, the Android 4.0 rollout has started and will be available OTA as well as by computer – either with their web-based Xperia Update, PC Companion or Bridge for Mac.

If you’ve opted to hold onto your AT&T Galaxy S II for a bit longer, you’ll be happy to know you can go ahead and grab the long awaited Ice Cream Sandwich update from Kies. You won’t be seeing this OTA so don’t wait another second for it to hit, find your nearest USB cable and fire up Kies.

All of the major U.S. carriers are ready to launch the Samsung Galaxy S III and we’re as excited as you are. In celebration of Samsung’s newest flagship device, we’d like to reward you devotees with a case to protect your precious new toy.

We’ve yet to get our hands on a Galaxy S III review unit (coming soon, I hope) but the least we could do is give you a an idea of what to expect from Samsung’s next big thing. Since the Galaxy S III is launching on almost every carrier under the sun, we’ll focus on a few of the major players and how well the GS3 appears to perform.
