Lenovo has confirmed that the midrange Moto G and entry-level Moto E are dead as Motorola — now dubbed “Moto by Lenovo” — switches its focus to high-end devices. Lenovo will continue to offer more affordable smartphones as part of its Vibe range.

HTC Vive, the virtual reality headset that could make or break HTC, is going up for pre-order on February 29. Like the Oculus Rift and Sony’s PlayStation VR system, Vive has its own display and needs no smartphone — but you will need a pricey PC.

Amazon is reportedly working on a smaller, battery-powered Echo that will go on sale “in the coming weeks.” The device is designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand, but it will be missing one of the existing’s Echo’s best features.
