AT&T is currently pushing out a minor over-the-air update to all its carrier-branded Optimus G devices located in the United States. Sadly, this upgrade doesn’t bring any major software developments, such as Android 4.2.2, let alone 4.4, but it does include a couple of much requested stability improvements, one of which allows users to take still photos using the front and rear camera at the same time.

Google unveiled the revamped version of its flagship 7-inch tablet, the Nexus 7, back in June, and a month later the device was available from the Play Store for $229. However, if you haven’t had the opportunity to pick one up before now, it may be of interest for you to know that for one day only the popular U.S. retailer, Woot, is offering $40 and $50 reductions on factory reconditioned Nexus 7 slates.

After a period of inactivity, Samsung has at last initiated its rollout in South Asia and is pushing the beefy Android 4.3 update to all its Galaxy S III smartphones with model number GT-i9305 currently located in India. This much-anticipated update finally brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean together with support for the recently released Galaxy Gear smartwatch, as well as compatibility for Samsung KNOX.

Last weekend, ZTE announced the Grand S II as the successor to its former flagship smartphone of 2013, however, the Chinese company neglected to inform us that a dual-SIM variant of the handset would also be produced, entitled, surprise, surprise, the Grand S II Dual.

Today, Verizon posted an official update page on its website for its forthcoming over-the-air upgrade for Samsung’s former flagship tablet of 2012, the Galaxy Note 10.1. Software version JZ054K.I925VRAMK1 is scheduled to bring two new greatly anticipated applications to the slate — Samsung WatchOn and S Educate — in addition to a multitude of stability updates and bug fixes.
