AT&T is now rolling out its final update to HTC’s former flagship smartphone of 2012, the One X+. This upgrade brings the latest build of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.0 to the handset, in addition to the usual multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements.

Motorola announced its flagship smartphone of 2013, the Moto X, back in August, and just a couple of weeks after its unveiling the factory unlocked handset was available to purchase for $619.99. However, Amazon is now holding a 10% sale on the device, meaning you can pick one up for $559 — that’s $60.99 off the retailer’s usual price.

Google has added a new ultra-affordable Android-powered smartphone to its rapidly-growing range of Google Play Edition devices. The Moto G GPE is listed as $179 for the 8GB unlocked model and will work on both AT&T and T-Mobile’s networks in the U.S.

AT&T has officially announced that its carrier-branded Galaxy S4 Active variant is the latest in a long line of Samsung devices now receiving the largely requested Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. This upgrade brings a truckload of bug fixes and stability improvements, in addition to an updated version of the TouchWiz user interface, together with support for the Galaxy Gear and Samsung KNOX.
