LG-G2

AT&T is currently pushing out a relatively minor over-the-air stability update to all its carrier-branded LG G2 handsets located in the United States. Sadly, this upgrade doesn’t bring any major software modifications, such as Android 4.4.2, but it does include ‘FOTA enhancement to support future updates’, in addition to several Google optimizations which we assume will help to pave the way for the much anticipated chunky KitKat update.

Google released the original model of its flagship 7-inch tablet, the Nexus 7, back in June, 2012, and a month later the device was available to purchase from the Play Store with a $350 price tag. However, if you didn’t have the opportunity to pick one up at the time, it may be of interest to you to know that you can currently grab the 7-inch slate for just $149 from the popular independent retailer, Woot! That’s a pretty good price considering we’re talking about the top of the range 32GB variant.

Samsung unveiled its latest mid-range dual-SIM smartphone, the Galaxy Grand 2, back in November, 2013, and on Saturday, January 18, 2014, the white variant of the handset went on sale from several independent retailers for ₹22,999 (Indian Rupee) — approximately $374. However, if you’re in India and you’re not a fan of the white colorway, then this could be your lucky day. The South Korean company has today launched two new color variations of the device — Pink and Black.

Google is currently in the process of pushing out a relatively minor over-the-air maintenance update to all LTE-enabled variants of the Nexus 7 located in the United States. Sadly, this upgrade doesn’t bring any major software modifications, but it does include support for Verizon’s super-fast 4G LTE network — just pop your Verizon SIM in, add the device to your plan for an additional $10 per month and you’ll be good to go.
