An internal document has been leaked on the internet revealing that U.S. Cellular’s much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 update for Samsung’s former flagship smartphone of 2013, the Galaxy S4, will start rolling out tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19, to all carrier-branded handsets located in the United States. This upgrade ferries the latest build of KitKat in addition to several enhancements for the TouchWiz custom user interface.

Yesterday, Samsung unveiled the successor to its relatively popular 2013 mid-range Android smartphone, the Galaxy Core. Sporting the name ‘Galaxy Core LTE’, the follow-up handset, like its predecessor, isn’t exactly what you’d call an impressive device, but it’s still pretty snappy and has more enough power to get you through the day on a single charge.

The popular Indian consumer electronics company, Micromax, has officially launched its latest low-end Android powered smartphone, the Canvas Power A96, in India, where it’s currently available to purchase from the manufacturer’s online store for ₹9900 ($160).

It’s been a long time coming, and despite not having an official announcement, we are finally starting to see signs suggesting that LG’s flagship tablet of 2014, the G Pad 8.3, is on its way to popular U.S. carrier, Verizon. A leaked press render has been posted on Twitter revealing a new version of the slate carrying the operators traditional over-the-top branding.

During an AMA on Reddit, the HTC U.S. Product Team announced that the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for both the One Max and One Mini is already in development and should start rolling out as early as March for the Max and April for the Mini.
