Yesterday, Thomas Devaux, the developer behind Google URL Shortener, announced that he is rebranding the application by simply changing its name to ‘URL Shortener’. We assume that this is a tactical move to prevent any legal action being taken against Google due to the extremely rapid speed at which the service is growing.

Following rumors dating back as far as December 2013 professing that Republic Wireless would soon be offering Motorola’s scaled-down variant of its flagship smartphone, the Moto G, for just $149.99 on a $5 per month tariff, the operator has today announced that it will, indeed, be doing just that, starting next month.

A new version of the extremely popular third-party keyboard application, Minuum, has now exited its beta testing phase and has today made its debut appearance on the Google Play Store. To celebrate its release , Whilscape, the developer behind this ‘revolutionary’ app, is currently offering customers a free 30-day trial, after which they’ll have to pay a one-time subscription fee of $3.99 if they wish to continue using the app.

Earlier today, Google announced that it was slashing the monthly price for its additional Google Drive storage space. Customers will continue to receive the standard 15GB completely free of charge, but if you find yourself requiring more space, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that you now have to pay that little bit less in order to get it.
