EE launched back in July 2010, under the name Everything Everywhere, which the management team quickly decided to shorten to EE in September 2012. EE thrives on providing super fast 4G LTE internet to customers based in the UK, and now, starting today, its announced its first data roaming tariffs in France and Spain.

In order to take advantage of the new roaming locations, current subscribers will need to opt-in to EE’s ‘data roaming bundles’, with plans starting at £3 for just 100MB of data over a 24 hour period. Customers who are a member of the operators 4GEE Extra plans will also be able to enjoy unlimited roaming minutes and texts as part of their plan.

The U.K. based mobile operator also confirmed in a press released that it is planning to extend its 4G coverage to at least five major roaming destinations by the end of Summer 2014, which include the U.S., Italy, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
