Earlier this week Vodafone unveiled their latest budget Android smartphone, and for just £95, it’s quite a no-brainer – that is, if you’re in the market for a budget smartphone.

On Friday evening, Samsung announced the availability of its second generation TecTiles NFC tags. TecTiles are tiny writable NFC tags, that can be programmed to trigger various actions on a smartphone, and now they’re compatible with the Galaxy S4.

As many Google fanatics expected, on Wednesday evening, Google announced the new Android API version 18 – which will feature Bluetooth Low Energy support.

Ever since the release of the HTC One, back in March 2013, HTC have encountered many production issues. A week after release, HTC suffered some major setbacks due to camera component shortages, and now they’re looking to speed up production of their latest flagship device.

Google Hangouts was revealed last week at I/O, and ever since it’s been a huge success. However, now it looks like AT&T are going to rain on Google’s parade by blocking video chat on its mobile network — just like it did with FaceTime on the iPhone.
