Nexus 7 KitKat

Over the past few weeks, plenty of leaks and rumors have surfaced, suggesting that Google is planning to launch its latest version of the Android operating system, KitKat, along with the ‘Nexus 5’ next month. And now, as if confirmation was needed, a comment has been made on the official German KitKat Facebook page confirming that the new OS will debut in October.

Google has started rolling out a tiny over-the-air update for the Wi-Fi only Nexus 7. This upgrade bumps the 7-inch slates build up to JSS15R, which, unfortunately, does not bring any new features, instead it consists of a bunch of bug fixes and stability improvements.

AT&T’s 400th LTE market went live last week, but that hasn’t slowed down the U.S. carrier who announced yesterday that it has once again expanded its super fast 4G LTE network – this time to 4 new locations. The announcement was made in a sequential series of press releases on the carrier’s website.
