The U.K. supermarket chain Tesco officially announced its first budget-friendly low-end 7-inch tablet, the “Hudl,” last week, and now it’s available to purchase from the retailer’s website, with an affordable price tag of just £119. In addition, Clubcard holders will also be able to obtain the slate through their “Clubcard Boost” program, enabling them to pick one up for as little as £60.

Verizon has started pushing out an over-the-air (OTA) update for its branded edition of HTC’s flagship One. This upgrade brings a handful of new features and stability improvements, and although it doesn’t bring any major software improvements, i.e. Android 4.3, it’s still quite a significant update that we would advise all users to download.

Yesterday, HTC pushed out a rather sizeable, much-anticipated over-the-air (OTA) update to all One handsets in Canada. The upgrade brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Sense 5 to the device, complete with a mass of additional bug fixes and speed optimizations, as well as a stylish new charging animation for when the handset is powered off.

AOL has officially released a news app on Google Play. Similar to many other news reader applications, ‘AOL: News’ features a scrollable menu bar, which automatically breaks news down into suitable categories, which can then be scrolled through at your leisure.
