Today, the popular British operator, Three U.K, officially launched its “super-fast” 4G service in three cities across the United Kingdom without warning. The carrier claims that “a few thousand” customers in London, Birmingham and Manchester have been given access to its new LTE network and by the end of February 1.5 million customers with 4G-enabled devices will have the ability to use the service.

Samsung’s latest low-end budget-friendly handset, the Galaxy S Duos 2, made its debut appearance on Samsung’s official online store in India late last night. However, strangely, the handset was not announced by the official Samsung Press Team located in South Korea and the United States, so the handset still remains unknown to many.

We hope you all picked up some great Cyber Monday bargains! However, consumers who planned on getting their hands on a shiny new off-contract 16GB Moto X for $349, a 32GB for $399. or the Moto X Developer Edition for $399 were sadly out of luck. Shortly after the products went on sale on the official Moto Maker website, Motorola’s servers crashed and many people were unable to order the handsets.

Today, Google has published the latest distribution figures of the Android operating system which ran over a 7-day period. The numbers reveal a consistent growth in the amount of Android users running Jelly Bean, whilst older versions of the OS continue on their path towards extinction. As anticipated, this months results also show a small amount of users running the latest software version, Android 4.4 KitKat.

LG unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the LG G2, back in August, 2013, and in September the handset went on sale in a variety of retail stores across the United States with an upfront price of $99.99 on all 2-year contracts. However, to celebrate Cyber Monday, Best Buy has teamed up with Sprint to offer the G2 with no upfront cost — that’s a total saving of $99.99.
