Good news, Pebble Time backers! Your brand new smartwatch has now entered mass production and is on track to begin shipping later this month. To get you even more excited for its arrival, Pebble is offering a sneak peek at more of the wearable’s new features and some details on what’s to come.

“We’re firing on all cylinders to get Pebble Time onto your wrist,” Pebble said in its latest update on Kickstarter. “With new hardware AND software on deck for May, the team is busy, excited, and fired up!”

Starting this week, Pebble Time is in mass production and the first units will be sent out to early backers in the second half of May. They’ll leave the factory in batches and arrive in distribution centers in the U.S., Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, and Ireland.

In the meantime, Pebble will be emailing all backers to give them a chance to review their Pebble Time color and delivery selections. If you’re happy with what you’ve chosen, you won’t have to do anything, but if you want to swap colors or upgrade delivery, you’ll get a chance to do so.

Once your order is confirmed, your card will be charged for shipping and prepayment of duties and taxes if applicable. A few weeks after that, you can expect to get an email with tracking information so that you can follow your Pebble Time order to your door.

While you’re waiting for your Pebble Time, you can learn more about its new user interface and some of its most useful features, including the Timeline with color-coded notifications, its new apps, and voice replies for Android notifications. It’s all on Pebble’s Kickstarter page via the source link below.

In addition to all this, Pebble has an “up next” list that outlines its upgrade plans. The company says it will be providing regular updates to Pebble Time’s software, and they will include things like voice replies for Gmail notifications on iOS, Voice Notes and Stocks apps, album art in the Music app, and more.
