Samsung hasn’t begun rolling out its Android 5.0 updates to consumers yet, but that hasn’t stopped pre-release builds from making their way out into the wild. We’ve already seen Lollipop with TouchWiz running on the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S4, and now the five-minute clip below gives us a glimpse at it on the Galaxy Note 3.

If you’ve already seen Samsung’s Lollipop software in the videos mentioned above, then you’ve already seen much of the design changes and features coming to the Note 3. But of course, unlike the Galaxy S5 and its predecessor, the Note 3 has some unique features of its own — such as an improved Multi-Window function that made its debut on the Note 4.

If you’re a Note 3 owner, then the preview will only get you even more excited for Lollipop. Everything looks and feels smoother and more responsive than before, and although TouchWiz is nowhere near as pretty as pure Lollipop (in my opinion), Samsung has at least made some effort to let Material Design shine through in places.

SamMobile, which has obtained this pre-release Lollipop build for the Note 3 and produced the video above, says it cannot share the firmware for “safety reasons.” However, the site has published a whole bunch of screenshots that you’ll want to take a look at.

Samsung hasn’t provided us with a release schedule for its first Lollipop updates yet, but sources familiar with its plans say we could see rollouts for flagships handsets like the Galaxy S5 as early as next month. Note 3 users will likely be made to wait until early 2015, however.
