Verizon Customers Get $50 Off A Customized Moto X For A Limited Time

Moto-X-Verizon-discount

The Moto Maker tool that allows you to customize Motorola’s Moto X handset before ordering finally came to all major U.S. carriers earlier this week, and those looking to grab one of Verizon can currently enjoy a $50 discount for a limited time. From today until November 18, the device will cost just $49 with a new two-year contract.

Motorola already slashed the price of the Moto X when it opened the Moto Maker tool up to other U.S. carriers, dropping its original $199 price tag to just $99. But if you get in on Verizon, you’ll pay just half that for a customized 16GB model. You won’t be able to take advantage of the offer in stores, however.

It’s only available through the Moto Maker tool; simply select Verizon upon ordering and the handset’s price will be just $49. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get a free Motorola Skip — the wearable clip that unlocks your phone with a single tap — worth $14.99.

It’s unclear whether a similar discount will be available with other carriers when the Verizon promotion ends next week, but if you’re desperate for a $49 Moto X, it might be best to just get one now before it’s too late.
