A British man is learning this the hard way after continually getting his Facebook account closed down by administrators who assume it is fake. Why? His name is “Something Long And Complicated.”

WhatsApp has long been warning us that using third-party clients is not permitted, and now it is permanently banning those who continue to do so.

At a hearing earlier today, in Frankfurt a court ruled that mobile taxi firm Uber can no longer operate in Germany due to inadequate insurance and licensing for the type of private drivers it employs.

However, the San Francisco startup have turned a blind-eye to the ‘unfair’ ruling and insists that its drivers will continue to operate throughout the ban period, even though they could face fines up to an eye-watering €250,000 (Euros) per trip.

Apple has today had its request for a permanent injunction on Samsung’s patent-infringing products denied. The Cupertino company was awarded $929 million in damages, but it argued that the monetary sum was insufficient, and that a number of Samsung products should be banned.

Arguably one of the best things about Google Glass is the ability to view maps and get directions while you’re driving without ever having to take your eyes off the road ahead. But that’s not the case for those in the U.K., where using Google Glass behind the wheel is banned by the government.
