Rovio took to the official Angry Birds Twitter account earlier today to tease the release of a new game, which is said to encompass a ‘big adventure’ and to help us on our travels we’ll be assisted by some great ‘new birds’.
The popular U.K. based independent retailer Argos has officially launched its first budget-friendly Android powered tablet. Entitled “MyTablet,” the 7-inch slate will be available to purchase in stores starting today, October 16, priced at just £99.99.
You may already be aware that the Samsung Galaxy Gear is powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, but what you may not know is that it is actually capable of running regular Android apps — not just those specifically built for Galaxy Gear. It can even run Android launchers like Nova — as you can see in the picture above.
While Google Play has been pretty stingy with its free app gifts, Amazon has been holding down the Free App Giveway Fort on Android with weekly promos similar to Apple’s App of the Week freebies. This week, rather than giving away just one app, Amazon is giving away 10 of its greatest hits, including Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, SwiftKey, Paper Camera, World of Goo, and more.
