Samsung’s super-sized iPad Pro competitor will come packing painfully disappointing specifications, according to the latest leak.

The slate’s 18.5-inch display is to be accompanied by a speedy octa-core Exynos processor — but it’s lacking in RAM, cameras, and motion sensors.

Recent rumors suggested Samsung’s giant tablet, which is to be called the Galaxy View, would be a powerhouse boasting the best of everything. But new specifications that have surfaced on GFXBench paint a very contrasting picture.

Despite its massive screen, the Galaxy View will apparently have a 1920×1080 resolution, just 2 GB of RAM, 32GB of storage as standard, and only a front-facing camera with a 2-megapixel sensor. There will be no rear-facing camera, no NFC, and no accelerometer or gyroscope.

About the only exciting really thing on the specifications sheet is the giant 5,700mAh battery.

We would normally advise you to ignore premature benchmarks, but according to the ever-reliable Evan Blass (@evleaks), these are accurate. This suggests the Galaxy View will be a more affordable tablet, rather than a premium device aimed at taking on the Microsoft Surface.

There’s no word on when Samsung will make the Galaxy View official just yet.
