Verizon Wireless, has announced that it is now offering customers an opportunity to grab a fully-customizable Moto X for just a penny on any of its 2 year contracts. Alternatively, if you don’t feel like being locked into a lengthy agreement, you could always pick one up on a prepaid tariff for the marked down price of $329.99.
Verizon has officially started rolling out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 update to all its carrier-branded Moto X variants currently located in the United States. In addition to the hefty bump up from Jelly Bean to KitKat, this particular upgrade brings stability improvements for 3G and 4G connectivity, as well as a handful of bug fixes and optimizations for the built-in camera application.
The Verizon variant of the Moto X smartphone is available with a great discount through Amazon and Moto Maker; the popular smartphone can now be snatched up for just 1¢ for a limited time.
