The President of HTC America, Jason Mackenzie, has taken to Twitter yet again, this time to announced that the company has just received certification for the longly-awaited Android 4.3 update for T-Mobile carrier-branded One handsets in the U.S. The anticipated over-the-air (OTA) upgrade will be rolled out to all devices within the “next few days.”

Feedly

The popular cross-platform RSS reader, Feedly, has received a pretty hefty update on the Google Play Store, bringing along with it a completely redesigned home screen widget, a new “discover” section of the app, a crisp new font designed to improve the readability of news, Galaxy Gear support and several performance enhancements.

Sony is in the process of rolling out a couple of new over-the-air (OTA) updates for its flagship Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra handsets. Although neither bring the latest version of Android, 4.3 Jelly Bean, they are still quite significant maintenance updates that we would advise all users to download and install.

The official American Airlines app has received a rather nifty update on Google Play, bringing along with it a much needed completely redesigned user interface, the automatic assigning of seats and a multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements.

Moto X

U.S. Cellular together with Motorola are in the process of preparing a much-anticipated update for the Moto X. The upgrade is a duplicate of what we’ve already seen T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T roll out to their carrier-branded devices, bringing a multitude of camera improvements and bug fixes.
