Moto X Google Now

The Google Now app which comes pre-installed on every Android device has received a rather hefty update that allows the service to provide information for the Winter Olympics, in addition to new capabilities that allows the service to call or send an SMS message to one of your contacts.

According to reports we’ve received from many loyal readers, Motorola has just started seeding the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 firmware update to all dual-SIM variants of the Moto G currently situated in Malaysia. This upgrade is exactly the same build as the one that was rolled out to the single-SIM model two weeks ago, and brings the latest version of KitKat with Project Svelte optimizations, as well as a multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements.

Samsung has officially started rolling out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 update to all its Galaxy S4 and S4 LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) variants currently located in Korea. The upgrade doesn’t bring much in terms of new functionality, but it does bring a multitude of highly-requested bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations, plus the ability to sort apps in the drawer and receive push notifications via Apex Notifier 2.0.
