The iPad Mini was announced today, and frankly, it missed the mark. The iPad Mini will simply have no effect on non-Apple users. Apple needed to go $299 or less to make the iPad Mini seep into consumers heads and play devil’s advocate. At $329, that simply isn’t going to happen.

Another day, another public humiliation. At least that’s what UK judges have in mind for Apple. After losing a legal claim against Samsung, a London judge ruled that Apple must “correct the damaging impression” caused by their “copycat” claims. The ruling forces Apple to publicly announce — both on their website and with adverts in publications such as the Daily Mail, Financial Times and T3 Magazine — that Samsung had not infringed on its design rights. Apple appealed this decision, of course. However, the judgement stands and the public humiliation must commence as an appeals judge has decided not to overturn the decision.

According to Droid-Life, a reader of theirs came across the 32GB model on one of their purchasing systems, prompting him to call his reseller for more details. Once he contacted his reseller, he was informed that they would be receiving them around October 24, and that it was a “special” model.”

You may be familiar with many of the standard voice commands, but with the introduction of Google Now, there’s a whole new library of “ask and answer” commands for you to experiment with.

While I’m still not a fan of tablets, and prefer a laptop anyday, there is one accessory that actually gets me to use my tablet, and that is a Bluetooth keyboard. For the most part, a Bluetooth keyboard is a Bluetooth keyboard, and since there are many new Nexus 7 owners out there looking for one, I figured why not take the Logitech Tablet Keyboard For Android 3.0+ for a test spin until an official Nexus 7 keyboard hits the market.
