Xiaomi Tablet Back

A benchmarks listing has revealed the existence of a mystery Xiaomi tablet called the ‘HM 1AC’. This device will reportedly sport a 9.2 inch display accompanied by a Snapdragon 400 SoC according to the benchmarks site. Given the hardware, this might most likely remain a budget offering.

Tegra K1

NVIDIA’s Tegra K1 superchip was announced last month during CES, and the company mentioned at the time that the chip wouldn’t make its way to the market for another few months. However, the AnTuTu benchmarks app appears to have already stumbled across a tablet running the new CPU — hinting at a launch sooner than expected.

Verizon Wireless has at last officially announced that will be offering the LTE version of Google’s flagship tablet of 2013, the Nexus 7, on its super-fast 4G network, from this Thursday, February 13, 2014. The American carrier will be listing the slate for $349.99 upfront, which will get you a factory unlocked model of the device, or $249.99 on a two-year data only contract. Customers can also add the tablet to their Share Everything Plan for an additional $10 per month.

The popular French electronics manufacturer, Archos, has unveiled three new affordable low-end Android-powered tablets — the 90 Neon, the 97 Neon and the 101 Neon. The trio will ship running the latest build of Vanilla Android 4.2 Jelly Bean together with a full set of Google apps and services, including Gmail, Google+ and YouTube.
