The HTC One Mini has been pictured several times in recent months, but the latest leaked photos are the best we’ve seen so far. They’re pretty clear, and they show off the handset’s front and back. Accompanying screenshots also reveal the juicy details about its internals.
Just days after rolling out the Android 4.2.2 update to the flagship HTC One in Europe, HTC has made the same software — with the latest Sense 5 user interface baked in — available to the Butterfly, the Taiwanese variant of the Droid DNA.
It’s the first time Sense 5 has been ported to an older device.
HTC delivered some bad news for HTC One S owners today by confirming that the device would not be upgraded to Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5. Despite being just over a year old, the device will now have stick with the software it already has.
HTC’s first smartphone with a 1080p display, the Butterfly, just got a new successor. The Butterfly S boasts some significant improvements over the original, such as the introduction of the HTC One’s 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera, and the latest Snapdragon 600 processor.
HTC seems to have real difficulty keeping unannounced products a secret, so by the time it actually gets around to unveiling something, we’ve already seen it numerous times. And that’s certainly the case with the HTC One Mini, which has been pictured yet again out in the wild.
