Having sold half a million Galaxy Gear smartwatches already this year, Samsung has claimed a whopping 71 percent of the global smartwatch market. The South Korean company’s wearables, often branded a “flop” by critics, are taking advantage of the lack of competition to gain an early lead over incoming rivals.

If you regularly use your Android-powered smartphone or tablet to stream media to other devices, then you’re probably already familiar with AllCast from ClockworkMod, which makes this process ridiculously simple. But what if you want to stream media from one Android device to another?

Well, AllCast now has a solution for that, too. It’s called AllCast Receiver, and it allows you to seamlessly stream content from one Android device to another.

Last month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy K Zoom as a successor to its first camera/smartphone hybrid, the S4 Zoom, which launched in the summer of 2013. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen very much of the new handset, except for a few camera shots, press renders and hands-on images, but, thankfully, the South Korean company is now looking to publicize its latest creation and has started this process by uploading an official teaser video on its YouTube channel.

There are lots of things I love about the Galaxy S5, but one thing that lets it down is its TouchWiz software. Samsung bakes in so many tweaks and modifications that it’s noticeably slower than stock Android, and filled to the brim with stuff (crap) no one ever wants or needs.

Fortunately, that won’t be the case with the Google Play Edition device, which will run pure Android 4.4 KitKat exactly as Google intended. And after picking up its Bluetooth SIG certificate today, it should be too long before this device hits the Play Store.

Samsung has already announced a number of new phones and tablets for 2014, but the South Korean has lots more up its sleeve. This year’s lineup also includes a Galaxy S5 Prime, a new Galaxy Gear, a second-generation Galaxy Mega, and more — according to ever-reliable tipster @Evleaks.
