Galaxy Mega PCS

A leaked image revealing Samsung’s mammoth 6.3-inch Galaxy Mega powering-up, with a MetroPCS-branded boot logo has emerged, thus confirming weeks of suspicion suggesting that the handset is headed to the U.S. carrier. The handset is expected to ship sim-locked to Metro, however, there’s no word on whether it will eventually make its way to T-Mobile or not.

Optimus F6 LG

LG announced its affordable mid-range Android smartphone, the Optimus F6, back in August and now we have confirmation that it’s available to purchase on MetroPCS, for $199 off-contract.

Huawei Valiant

MetroPCS, the largest prepaid service in the U.S., has officially announced that it will carry Huawei’s latest ultra-affordable Android smartphone, the Valiant, which is available to purchase from the carrier’s website as from today.

Galaxy-S4-MetroPCS

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is now available to purchase from MetroPCS for $550. You can get it with the carrier’s $40 per month unlimited everything plan, which gives you 4G LTE data where available. But it’s initially only available in stores in “select markets.”

metropcs-t-mobile

MetroPCS is now ready to start selling devices that run on T-Mobile’s 3G HSPA+ network, which means this is the beginning of customer migration from MetroPCS to T-Mobile. The migration has begun ahead of schedule, coming just six weeks after the newly-appointed T-Mobile began trading.
