The demand for 4G LTE connectivity has never been greater, so, consequently, operators are pulling out all the stops to try to fulfil the extremely high demand and Sprint Corporation is no exception. In an effort to keep up with its competitors, Sprint announced this morning that it has launched its high-speed 4G LTE data in an additional 40 locations across the United States, bumping its networks total number of nationwide markets up to 340.

Samsung has agreed a patent licensing deal with Ericsson to end an ongoing legal dispute that began back in 2012. The South Korean company will pay royalty costs and an initial licensing fee to gain access to numerous Ericsson patents covering LTE, UMTS, and GSM network standards.

LG unwrapped its first high-end Android-powered flagship tablet, the G Pad 8.3 in the United States back in October, 2013, however, the South Korean company has never mentioned that an LTE-enabled variant would also be touching down in the States, too. A recent FCC filing shows that the upcoming G Pad variant, model number VK810 will support Verizon’s LTE and HSPA data services, therefore, confirming 4G capabilities are on the way.

AT&T has again broadened its horizons by upgrading and expanding its LTE connectivity services to 20 additional new locations. The announcement was made in a sequential series of press releases on the carrier’s website, and the operator didn’t fail to grab this opportunity to remind us that it was named as having the fastest 4G LTE connection in the U.S.A. throughout the entire year of 2013.

The HP Chromebook 11 is now available with LTE connectivity for $379 — $100 more than the original Wi-Fi only model. The device, which is compatible with Verizon’s LTE network, is currently exclusive to the United States and available to purchase from Best Buy both in store and online.
