Sony-Xperia-T2-Ultra

Two weeks ago, a well-known and trusted leaker announced on his social networking sites that Sony’s latest mid-range phablet, the Xperia T2 Ultra, is set to launch on T-Mobile in the United States later this year, and earlier today an FCC filing has been brought to our attention, confirming that the forthcoming handset is, indeed, compatible with T-Mobile’s LTE bands in the U.S.

ASUS AT&T Padfone X

The ASUS Padfone X was originally launched back in January during the CES, with AT&T announcing the availability shortly after. However, the tablet is yet to see a launch despite teasers being posted by the carrier. This tablet-smartphone hybrid has now made its way to the FCC for certification, indicating that it’s one step closer from official retail availability.

Yesterday, an unannounced Samsung Mobile Device, SM-T805, passed through the Bluetooth Certification HQ in the United States. Brief snippets of information included in the filing documentation reveal that we could potentially be looking at the Galaxy Tab Pro — a revamped model of the South Korean company’s former flagship tablet of 2013.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S5, its first high-end Android-powered flagship smartphone of 2014, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month, However, the South Korean company omitted to inform us that an exclusive LTE-Advanced AT&T variant would also be landing in the States, along with the 4G model. A recent FCC filing shows that the upcoming S5 variant will support AT&T’s LTE and HSPA data services — bands 2, 4, 15 and 17 — thus confirming the existence of LTE Advanced capabilities on the handset.

Yesterday, an unannounced HTC smartphone passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. Information included in the brief filing documentation reveals that we could potentially be looking at the ‘All New HTC One’ (HTC6525L) — a revamped model of the Taiwanese company’s flagship smartphone of 2013.
