An LTE edition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 with the model number SM-T315 has passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) following the tablet’s release as a Wi-Fi only device earlier this year. It’s not compatible with U.S. networks, however, which suggests it will make its debut in South Korea.

AT&T has expanded its LTE connectivity service to an additional 7 locations and in true AT&T’style. The announcement was made in a sequential series of press releases on the U.S. carrier’s website.

According to a recent FCC filing, Samsung’s Galaxy Mega 6.3 has stopped by the Federal Communications Commission… again. However, on the second trip through, it is reported that the device had radios capable of working on AT&T’s 4G LTE network.

The demand for 4G LTE connectivity has never been higher, and companies are pulling all the tricks out the bag to try to fulfil the high demand. Last night, Sprint announced that it has turned on high-speed 4G LTE data in 22 new locations. The announcement was made in a single press release on the U.S. carrier’s website.

MetroPCS is now ready to start selling devices that run on T-Mobile’s 3G HSPA+ network, which means this is the beginning of customer migration from MetroPCS to T-Mobile. The migration has begun ahead of schedule, coming just six weeks after the newly-appointed T-Mobile began trading.
