ASUS gave users a quick heads up on which of their tablets would be honored with an Android 4.1 update. This doesn’t mean these are the only ASUS products that will be receiving Jelly Bean, but for now, you can rest assured knowing the following will definitely be getting the tasty treat:


Yesterday HTC posted an update on the progress of their Ice Cream Sandwich rollouts. Ice Cream Sandwich has already started rolling out to a limited number of HTC Sensation and Sensation XE users and should see more widespread distribution in the next couple weeks. The Sensation 4G and Sensation XL will soon follow, after that, it’s anyone’s guess. However, HTC has listed all the devices expected to recieve Android 4.0 and they are as follows:


Verizon today announced a list of devices they expect to receive the Android 4.0 update. Many manufacturers have already confirmed this information but it’s always nice to hear it straight from a carriers mouth. While no official dates have been given, the list includes devices from HTC, Motorola, Samsung and LG. You can find the full list after the break so stay tuned to see if your Verizon device was given the thumbs up from Big Red.

It’s been a little over a week since HTC gave us an idea of which devices would be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich and when. Many were upset to see the HTC Thunderbolt missing from that list and it seems HTC didn’t want a riot on their hands as they’ve updated their list to now include the Thunderbolt. Today on Facebook, HTC announced a few more devices that will be getting Android 4.0 in the coming months. Devices include:

As we get closer to March, we should start to see companies outline their plans for upgrading devices to Android 4.0. Many have already done so, including Motorola, but today Motorola has expanded on their list of devices, adding a few new ones to the list. While actual dates for upgrades remain open, we at least know that Motorola plans to upgrade the following devices:
