Moto X owners will tell you that one of the best things about their smartphone is its Active Display feature, which offers a peek at incoming notifications from the lock screen. Unfortunately, this is exclusive to the Moto X — not even the Moto G has it — and Motorola won’t bring it to rival Android devices, for obvious reasons.

There are some nice alternatives for other Androids, though — such as AcDisplay, which is probably the closest we’ll get to Active Display on unsupported smartphones.

A new video leak has revealed the possible user interface of the Sony Xperia D6503 — also known as the Xperia Sirius or the Xperia Z2. The high-end smartphone is rumored to be headed for an MWC release, but this video gives us a sneak peek at the handset’s new software changes weeks in advance.

The Sony Xperia D5103 has been spotted on the GFX Benchmarks site ahead of its official unveiling, giving us an early glimpse at its internal specifications. As far as benchmark scores go, this certainly isn’t a specs beast, but more likely a midrange offering from the Japanese manufacturer.

LG has announced the arrival of its G2 Mini flagship with a post on its Facebook page. The smartphone is expected to make its debut at Mobile World Congress at the end of this month.
