Earlier today, Sprint posted a series of upgrade documents on its website for an over-the-air update that it’s already in the process of pushing out to all its carrier-branded Galaxy Tab 3’s currently located in the United States. Sadly, this upgrade doesn’t bring any major software modifications, such as Android 4.4.2, but it does bring the usual multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements.

OnePlus One

Chinese manufacturer OnePlus recently announced that its upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus One would be priced under $400. However, there was no word on the expected launch date of this device. The company answered that and several other questions during a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) conducted recently.

KitKat 10

Samsung is currently rolling out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to all International models of its former flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, located in parts of Asia and Europe including Poland, Malaysia and the Philippines. This rather hefty upgrade is a fairly major bump up from Android 4.3, bringing support for the Galaxy Gear, together with the usual multitude of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations.

Nexus 6 concept

Google devices are always in the rumors, regardless of what time of the year it is. Similarly, the Google smartwatch has been rumored for quite a while now, but very little is known about it. A new rumor however claims that this wearable could be made by LG. It has been rumored that the company is working on its own smartwatch soon, so maybe that will be used as a reference design for Google’s version, much like the Nexus smartphones usually are.

Tegra K1 Benchmarks

The Tegra K1 mobile SoC was shown off at the CES 2014 event by NVIDIA, calling it one of the most advanced mobile chipsets. This has now made its way to AnTuTu for some benchmarking action, which reveals stellar performance.
